My wife has become assimilated. First an iPod, now a Mac.
After decades in the PC world, the question is:
what Mac-specific software is out there (particularly for photo management) that she would not know about?
Feel free to post any other suggestions about tools that work well with the Mac. For example, we have a wireless router for our stuff, but it does not seem to play well with the Mac. AirPort?
Dr. Pion is a pseudonym for a physicist whose research once included study of the pi meson. His expertise also includes the history of nuclear weapons and proliferation, but his main interest today is teaching "physics for scientists and engineers". He uses the pseudonym CCPhysicist when commenting in certain blogs because he teaches at a community college.
There is no connection at all between this blog and the real people (a veterinarian and a physician) known as Dr. Pion who show up in a Google search on this name.

I run a linksys router and no problem with all (gulp) 3 of my macs and wireless. Only my vaio gives me problems with the wireless.
I'm sure she knows of iPhoto. Will try to think of what else. I've used a program called SOHO notes as a stickies on steroids and really like it.
