Beware the Ides of March!
A belated "Happy Pi Day" and "Happy Einstein's birthday" ...
... as well as my fourth blogiversary (the day before).
Simplifying the complex and complexifying the rest: Ravings on physics, politics, education, motoring, and the Harvard comma.

Dr. Pion is a pseudonym for a physicist whose research once included study of the pi meson. His expertise also includes the history of nuclear weapons and proliferation, but his main interest today is teaching "physics for scientists and engineers". He uses the pseudonym CCPhysicist when commenting in certain blogs because he teaches at a community college.
There is no connection at all between this blog and the real people (a veterinarian and a physician) known as Dr. Pion who show up in a Google search on this name.

Congrats on the blogiversary!
Four years --that's an admirable track record.
And now a tough question: is it blogiversary or bloggiversary?
I am partial to the second version, that has the double-g like in "blogging"...
Yeah, looks better. Sort of like the doubled n in anniversary, even if that comes from the Latin root word.
